Meet Rob Painter

Rob Painter, the compassionate leader of Lifepointe Enterprises, provides guidance and support to individuals, couples, and families facing life's most challenging moments.

Rob and his wife Aimee have been married for 30 years with five kids and a son-in-law! They have been in ministry together their whole adult lives. They say laughing is their favorite thing in life. Rob has personally served in ministry for over 35 years, with 20 of those being in Biblical counseling.

Rob’s greatest passion is to see people set FREE from the things that hold them back from truly knowing themselves, and from knowing God’s love. It brings him so much joy to see breakthrough in his client’s lives.

Every interaction with Rob is a step towards healing and growth, where empathy and professionalism intersect to create a safe space for transformation.

With a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (emphasis in trauma) from Grand Canyon University, Rob is certified and educated in many practical tools to help people walk in freedom from anxiety, core identity issues, marriage conflict, trauma, and depression. Rob is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Biblical Counseling Methods. Rob’s counseling method is a unique blend of biblical and mental health counseling, providing a new and effective way for people to find freedom.

 Qualifications

  • Rob graduated with his Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University in November of 2024. Through this degree, he was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. As a part of his graduate program, Rob completed over 700 hours at an addiction treatment center called “Footprints to Recovery,” a nationally accredited drug and alcohol treatment program.

As a result of his degree, he has tailored his approach to counseling to be more person-centered and holistic. He specializes in addressing trauma-related pain, habits, and influences in the lives of those he meets with.

  • Rob holds Advanced Diplomas in Biblical Counseling and Addiction and Recovery from the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). The AACC is the world’s largest faith-based mental health organization.

His education from AACC merges psychology methods with Biblical truths.

  • SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and Prepare/Enrich are assessments for both engaged and married couples. Rob is certified and trained to administer and facilitate these tests. These assessments are designed to help couples develop a personalized road map for making their marriage everything it was meant to be.

In Pre-Marriage counseling, topics such as finances, communication, and conflict resolution are addressed and can become topics for growth, no matter what stage of marriage you are in.

  • Heart Sync Methodologies are a specific approach to addressing Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy.

Sometimes, other methods of therapy or counseling can provide an arsenal of tools and fixes to issues in the moment, without addressing the deeper-lying issue. Heart Sync Methodologies and Rob’s “Soul Care” are a set of practices designed to get to the core of people’s issues, not just the exterior habits that we all develop.
